And another thing to point out is this:
Take the 57,000 spent on the Hummer, and subtract the $21,000 on the HCH (I paid 18,600 for mine) and you get a $36,000. Now, if you were to take that $36,000 you just saved and spend it on photovoltaic solar panels and an inverter for your house -- BLAAAAMO -- instead of having a vehicle that's going to decrease in value ever more rapidly as gas prices rise, you'd be well on your way to energy independence -- and you wouldn't have to worry about "power failures" and rising electricity prices.
