I'm boycotting the Edmunds forums

I'm actually quite frustrated with sites like MixedPower.com, which republish entire articles from other websites (including GreenHybrid). This is in blatant violation of copyright laws and gives them an unethical advantage with search engines, news engines, etc. I just posted a thread there about it and it's been deleted.

how about now allowing their sight to access yours. Find out what block of IPs their servers use and just ban them from your network. Or redirect them to webpages that say "this content has been stollen from www.greenhybrid.com.'

Kinda off topic, but I'm reporting MixedPower to Google for copyright violations so that they remove it from the Google News distribution.

It's a shame Edmunds wants to be such jerk-offs about this. It's a big, big world out there with plenty of info to share. The great thing about the internet is the ability to shrink that giant world and make information available to everyone. I applaud your attitude and sense of humor Jason!

Well what's *really* annoying is the Edmunds is putting profit, before helping. The New Civic Hybrid driver who asked for MPG-boosting tips, is still flying blind, because I wasn't able to share links. So he received almost no help, thanks to Edmunds' policy.

Hot Georgia I'm headed to hybridcars.com right now, man if they think you are "pro-Bush, Right-wing hateful stupid crazy person " wait till the get a load of me. I have to say I have never actually found a fix to a problem at Edmonds anyway.
