How about a poll of hybrid owners on whether they would rather have their regular taxes raised back to pre Bush tax rates so they can get the hybrid tax credit but pay more income tax then AMT.

We don't have to worry about the AMT if regular tax rates are raised high enough.

Since I didn't see a reduction in my taxes, fine by me. But more importantly, include the kids in the poll and ask them if they support paying taxes for the debt their 'old folks' signed up for.
