These kind of posts and then giving the lowest rating possible is not exactly the way I'd welcome a new member .... canceling out the one star....

I agree.... and I also think that the Element has nice lines. I remember you from the elementownersclub.com forum.... before my 05 Element was totalled. Are you trading the E for the civic?

There was something untrue about reducing weight to increase FE?

Either way, I did vote low on this thread. But not to the discredit of Sheniferous. I make my votes based on what I take away from the thread. If it's of no use for me, I vote low. If I gain something, I vote high. Isn't that the point of the rating system? For individuals to rate their (personal) value of the thread? If it's only for the importance of the forum, then Jason and the mods would be the only ones allowed to rate. (an example: why a sticky exists)

I'm starting to realize you're trolling for me, but am unsure why... Perhaps, if you have an issue with why I rated this thread low, we can do it in PM, as not to instill any hostility on GH.

There are a lot of opinions here.

Just because an opinion does not benefit me am I giong to condemn it.

I reserve negative ratings for posts bordering on the disruptive or in conflict with the core beliefs of GH.

I don't think it's appropiate to respond to an honest question by negging them and making a tacky post. Be my guest if you want to claim martyrdom over this - I probably have little more to add....

Nah, we're going to keep the E in the family. It's still a great weekend/fun car, but since I drive at least 60 miles daily, it's a bit thirsty on fuel, not to mention that the stop-n-go nature of LA's freeway system kind of... sucks. With the HCH2 I'll not only be able to carpool solo (oxymoron?) but I'll save about 550 gallons of gas a year doing it! In addition, the HCH2 is a bit more civilized for my daily commuting needs!

What's even worse is the dealers that put a decal on the back of the car! It's so hard to scrape those off without scratching the paint.
Keith;
Iwish that you had ask here on GreenHybrid about the removal of those or in your case that "Most-Beautiful" dealer decal on the trunk. The detail shop at my dealership uses "Plastic-Razor Blades". They may not call it that but thats what they look like and they do-not leave scrape-marks.

I did order the GreenHybrid License Plate Frame and it looks good. I am going to run it on the (Rear) with my New Personalized Plate that says, "ISAVGAS". I think that will look Appropriate with the type of car it is.
"Honda Civic Hybrid"
