Angry Mobil1 0w-20 Discontinued?

I have learned that Mobil1 has discontinued their 0w-20 synthetic oil. After getting past the shock, I'm now left wondering what would be the best oil to use? I haven't been able to find any 0w-20 fully synthetic in any brand (at least, based upon my initial search). Would Mobil1 5w-20 synthetic work OK (ie, not lower my mileage)? Or would it be better to stay with 0w-20 and go with a conventional oil? I would really hate not using synthetic oil any more. Any suggestions? Thanks,

Thanks for the info. I managed to find a few quarts at a local store to stock pile, but it sounds like moving to 5w-20 will end up being the long range plan. Thanks again for the info.

I found 4 quarts mobil 1-0w20 left at my local walmart. no pep boys near here, so I guess that's what I get. My dealer offers a free oil change at 5000 miles, so I'll have them put the mobil 1 in then.
have had my HCH for a week today. So far I'm only getting 35mpg: home office - so no commute, and only local errands for driving.

You might want to let them use the dealer oil for the first oil change since it is free. That is what I did for the first, but now I have 10 quarts of 0W for the next few changes. I will keep my eyes open for more at a good price.

Sounds good to me! We don't have 0W at our Walmarts in Chattanooga. I am paying around $4.50/Qt. Luckily Advance Auto has been having coupons for $5 off $25 purchase, but it is still not as good as what you did.

Ya they don't have 0w-20 at my Wal-Mart either, I bought it all off the clearance shelf.

Billy - you got a great price.
I paid 4.98 at walmart, and just found 15 more quarts at advance auto; 'on sale' at 4.48. that was all they had at their 2 stores in orange, nj. -a drive for me, but I could use the highway miles
so I guess that'll do me for a couple years with mobil 1.
