Hi All,

I have a new EV car design that would not need to be plugged in to recharge or use and fuel. Im looking for ideas on how to fund this design. Any held would be great would love to work with someone too.

In terms of the reality of the business world you have to either pitch the technology (explain your concept) to private individuals that would be willing to invest in shares of your corporation, and/or you'll need to seek investment capital from the venture capitalists, in that case you must prepare a business plan to present to them. If you really are sure of the concept and have the ability to demonstrate it on a small scale that's also a necessary component that will be asked of you if they consider your proposal, so be prepared to build a device that demonstrates the principle behind the technology that would power the car.

There are a few engineers and various other knowlegable people here that may be able to help you with the design of such a device, but of course that would mean introducing us to the concept.

As Scwha has aptly mentioned, you'll have to disclose a LOT of information to a LOT of people, in order to find someone willing to invest money in your dream.

Therefore, it may make sense seeking patent protection. It is also a good idea from a technical standpoint, to do a related patent search, because you never know if your original idea has already been covered by another patent, although in a different form.

You'll be surprised at the number of patents that never make it to the marketplace, but are still there. If your idea does become viable, then the dormant patent holder could wake up and you'll find yourself on litigation.

1st post, out of the blue with 'magic technology.' Things that make you go hmmm.

1st step patent your idea. If you don't get that far then no one will take you seriously enough to give you money. Well... I shouldn't say anyone. You could probably find some fool that will give you money. I can't tell you where he is though. Just keep peppering message boards and you may find him.

well, to tell the truth...if you've come up with a system of perpetual motion i can think of alot of people that would fund it (i think anybody who you pitched it to if it indeed was true...wich perpetual motion is a pysical imposibilty is not...would fund it)
