I heard an interesting bit of research the other day -- can't remember now where, or I'd try to substantiate it. Report was that road rage-correlates with
number of bumper stickers, not
content. You're as likely to be raged upon by someone bearing "Praise the Lord" stickers (if there's lots of 'em) as "I *am* the NRA"'s.
The researcher's theory is that number of stickers maps to how strongly the owner/driver feels their car is an extension of their personal domain...something like that.
Ah, here's a couple references. I just heard it the other day, but sounds like the psychologists have been looking at it for a while. Thank you, Google.
