Default Nissan Altima Hybrid vs Toyota Camry Hybrid

I tried the both on the road.
I compared lots of reviews of both.
I read both sets of specs.
I reviewed both brochures.
I like the rear end of the Toyota best.
I like the front ends equally.
I like the larger green house on the Nissan
I like the soft ride of the Camry
I like the Handling of the Nissan.
I feel the Nissan has the edge in mileage.
The Nissan will go EV at about 10mph higher than the Toyota
The price is really the Same.
I like the Rear View Camera on the Nissan
I like the 6 disk changer vs 4 and the MP3 changer vs not on the Nissan.
I like the powered seat for the passenger on the Toyota.
I like the knee bag on the Toyota ( I invented inflatable Knee bags)

It was tough deciding.

I tested both and found the Nissan to be the better car.

I found the Altima was peppier then the Camry, handled better, felt sturdier, looked better, and had more standard features then the Camry. It has the same gas mileage but better horsepower then the Camry. My wife and I both found the Altima more comfortable as well.

So buying the Altima really was a no-brainer.

I have nothing against Toyota, but no car or company is perfect.

Like Honda :p
(My 2001 Honda Civic was, without a doubt, the worse car I have ever owned.)

Just sold my Altima[1998] last Dec. and purchased a HCH2. HCH2 is much better handling auto. [Sporty drive] I had alot of mechanical problems with the Nissan for the first year. Steering rack, electrical problems, timing chain $2200 to repair and the list grew. It was a confortable car to drive however. My HCH2 has been trouble free and a confortable car as well, not to speak of the great FE. on top of everything. H

is more like u r compared the 98 altima to the HCH2 than the new altima hybrid from what u said... Altima is not all that great yet but atleast i have no problem yet for the first 4500 milage i have. i have no ideas how much to change the timing chain but if u take good care of your car shouldn't need to change atleast till 120K or so. i'm sure u get more gas out of the HCH2 but once u have 4 or 5 people in the car than u know what i'm talking about.
Yeah, Altima is using the Toyota hybrid but not the Engine and they run the hybrid different. Camry get beter gas but Altima has more power. Both are great car but u really need to tested drive both to see which fit u better.

The Altima and HCH2 are both 5 passenger cars. There is very little, if any, differance in cab size. Both are nice cars, but Nissan has not been the greatest for reliability. H
