NYC Trip: Hybrid Report
Hey folks,
Wife and I just got back from a few days in NYC. (We rode the train up from Washington DC).
I am happy to report LOTS of hybrid taxis in the big apple. Much, much more than when I was there last year. Still mostly Crown Vics, a few minivans--mostly Toyo Siennas and a few Explorers.
However, I must of saw 20-30 different FEHs there over the course of three days (about 1/3 of those brand new 08s!!) Probably 5 Toyo Highlander Hybrid and..... 1 Camry hybrid cab. I kid you not!!! I had to do a double take.
The FEHs seem very popular...quite a few were running EV only with the windows down. Very cool.
Hope to see more of those hybrid cabs!!
