I used to keep track of my MPG on my Palm 5 but have given it to my son for use in school.

I'd love to keep track of mileage on my PC but can't seem to find any simple, easy to use software.
TONS of software on the WWW geared for truckers, realtors and other businesses but I really don't need all those bells & whistles. Just something simple.

I've messed with excell spreadsheets but since I rarely use these don't have the time to train myself in formulas and sentax.

It would be great to find a program where the beginning ODO is already entered on a new tank (Taken from the last), and you just enter the ending ODO, gallons, price etc. I would hope the output would display trip and average MPG, cost etc on a line graph.

Don't need to track things like hotel, food or other expenses.

Right now I'm just keeping track of my data in a text file.

Any suggestions?

This sounds like a job for Ruby on Rails ! If I could remember my login to my freakin' hosting service, I'd write and host such an application, since I've been looking for an excuse to write a Rails app for awhile now.

If your query here turns up nil, I will write the application myself. Maybe Jason could later integrate it into this site as a replacement for his own freshly-rewritten database

I've been using automobil 1.6 for Palm for a while now. They have updated it many times over and mine is totally out of date, however it is easy to use, has full history and does exactly what I want it to do.
