Is anyone aware of any plans for one of the auto companies producing hybrids to come out with a convertable? I'd relly like to get a second hybrid when our '97 Accord gives out, but I'd really like a convertable too.

If Toyota is going to have every car in it's fleet hybrid by 2020, then surely it would include their vert (I think the Solara, of course models come and go.)

I would expect that it would be more of a performance hybrid rather than and fuel economy hybrid, since the aerodynamics of a rag top are probably not so good. A hard-top version might fare better.
