. . .Per FOX News the price of fuel is expected to crest over the $3.00 mark begining in the summer and may stay that way, here in florida.
This hypermiler hybrid driver is thinking, "Oh goodie, I pay off the hybrid premium in the first year."
I noticed when I drove the Prius back from Texas, I no longer went an extra half-mile or mile in from the Interstate exit to save a nickle a gallon. Gas price was no longer an issue.
Thanks for the honesty. If it drops to $1.50 you're screwed.
The ironic thing is that gasoline was only $1.29/gallon when I bought my hybrid. But in the back of my mind I thought, "Bush is a dumb faux-cowboy who's completely owned by the oil industry, and Dick Cheney is a prehistoric, telepathic fossil. Gas is going to go through the roof!!"
My question is why is there such a difference in the price of different fuel grades including diesel & the break down of these prices?
This question may have been posted before but I couldnt find it. Becides everyone is so informative here....

this is normal for gas to jump a little every summer right now 87* is 2.51 a gal.
Prices always rise when supply does not match demand. That is because people are willing to pay more for something that is in short supply. Demand always rises in the summer months and around holidays because people are driving more thus increasing demand.
