Hi everybody, I am new to this forum. Anyone out there know if it is possible to change the language on a jap import touchscreen to english. I am thinking of buying one but noticed the screen buttons were all in japanese. Thanks. Dave.

You may be looking at an NHW10 and if so, the answer is "no." Check the vehicle VIN number and verify the model is an NHW11. If it is an NHW10, smile, be friendly but LEAVE IT ALONE!

The NHW10 was sold only in Japan and there have been reports of them being exported to other countries. Everything is fine until they break: (1) maintenance manuals in Japanese, (2) parts only in Japan, and (3) first generation and age problems.

If it is an NHW11, you'll need to buy a salvage MFD and swap it out. However, I don't know of anyone having done this. If you buy the salvage MFD first, then it might work.
