The 9810 Federal tax form is now availible as of 1-31------I was wondering if anyone knows what the 'identifying number' at the top of the tax form is.....VIN??? Any help would be apprieciated----very excited to get my credit!!!

My turbo tax allowed me to fill out the form, but it won't let me submit the return until the form is "finalized" or some such thing.

Incidentally, I got all of my credit. I have no idea how AMT works or any of that other tax stuff, but it worked for me.

that form has been on the IRS site for months. I sent it to my accountant back in June.

Actually the form posted on - line previously had the year 2005 printed in the top right hand corner...the 2006 just came out 1-31. Also, I do not make enough to need to pay AMT therefore I will get all my credit.
