We actually had a few hours of sunlight this morning (Jan. 10, '06) in southeastern Michigan. I think it scared some people - like they were ready to hide under desks with paper bags over their heads.

But have no fear. After a couple more days of "balmy" weather (temps in the 40's), we are assured that next week the really cold weather will be moving in.
