No, not a hybrid. It just restarts the engine. Absolutley no motive/propelling force is coming from the electric motor. And 2-3 MPG gain? C'mon, inflate your tires and you can do that! I am curious about GMs "dual-mode" system. Sounds like Toyota HSD, meaning electric can move the car as well as gas or both. We'll see...anyone have info on this?

Does GM think people will fall for the hybrid tag on this one? C'mon, 10% mpg gain?!?! Weak. I was waiting for a VUE hybrid, having owned a Saturn for years, but I'm growing more disillusioned with GM all the time...
