Notice how the 600hL impacts the RX450h sales. To some extent, that is what the Camry hybrid does to the Prius . . . but in a nice way.

I went to the site but couldn't find a listing of Prius sales by month going back to the start. Do you have a URL to something like that?

What I picked up on is just how well the Altima Hybrid is selling, considering it's available in only 6 states.

Yes, and I also think that it has probably impacted the TCH sales in those states and the areas close to their borders. I know several peeps in Oregon that have gotten down to TCH vs. NAH and those that opted for the NAH drove down to Northern California to get it. The Nissan dealer in Redding has done very well this year.

I have over 10,000 miles on my Altima Hybrid since March. It's been a great car, and I only have the base model. I preferred it to the Camry then, and still do.

Nissan still suffers from the memory of poor designs in years past, but the current crop of Nissans may be the best yet. If only they would seriously compete in the hybrid sector. The Altima Hybrid would sell well if they opened it up to all 50 states. A hybrid Versa would meet many needs and a hybrid version of one of their SUVs would be welcome competition to Ford and Toyota. Nissan’s excuse is a wait and see how it does attitude with the Altima hybrid. Hopefully they are seeing good numbers.

I think it is 8 states, but that doesn't change much. The other thing is that even in the states where the NAH is available, Nissan isn't pushing it. Most people I know aren't even aware that the NAH exists.
