My new my hybrid had no license plates for the first 6 weeks.
During that time I had drivers tailgating me, even in the right lane of a 4-lane highway.
It was like they were trying to push me out of the way or get me to speed up.

Now that I have my plates, nobody tailgates me.
Ever.
When they get close enough to read my personalized plates they immediately change lanes.
I guess they figure I am so far gone that they can’t teach me how to drive.

My plates they say that you, like me, should drive efficiently and not guzzle gas.

It is much more effective than a, “Back Off!” bumper sticker.

Drive a hybrid.
Best tank 71.65 MPG.

Before this car I spent two years learning hypermiling on my 2004 HCH1.

It always amazes me while on driving on a 5 to 6 lane freeway how people will fall behind and do this. I can only think that they don't have any brain at all because they are obviously in a hurry but will drive that way several miles to their exit.

.

Efficient drivers do it better.
1003 miles a tank personal record. 74MPG calculated. HCH1 CVT

What really cheeses me off is when they tailgate you, then finally roar past you in a huff and puff of fire, fury, and fingers (yeah, that one), then they cross over in front of you and slow down!

I would like to get some lettering for my Prius' lower rear window that says

"I <span style='color:red'>brake for fun.
Follow closely at your own risk"</span>

P.S. I wish I knew what Kenny's plate said...If it's THAT effective, I might consider changing mine after it arrives!

Hint
Two three-letter words separated by a space.

I have a friend in Massachusetts who told me about a clever plate that she saw which deftly summed up what the hybrid car is all about.

Lo and behold it was the same as mine.
I couldn't believe it wasn't already taken in my state.
I'm sure that soon there will be one in each of the 50 states.

It really repels tailgaters faster than a fart.

Hint 1 was:
Two three-letter words.
Separated by a space.

Hint 2:
The first word is a verb.
The second is a noun.

Would anyone care to buy a vowel?

_ _ _ (space) _ _ _
