Default For those interested in Global Oil Reserves and the Oil Peak

This website has a lot of information :-

http://www.wolfatthedoor.org.uk/

.

Driving HCH since 1/2/06, largely deep city driving. Finally filled up today, 1/19/06 for the first time ! Filled up at 4 bars, 350 miles.

Hi Wayne,

I like the site "Wolf at the Door" because it presents a UK perspective , so is not clouded by US politics. Of course it may contain some UK politics

One quote directly from that site which is relevant here:-

"Conservation measures would save energy
  • More efficiency invites people to use more. If more fuel-efficient car engines made travelling cheaper, people would tend to drive more. Cheaper electricity bills encourage people to use more appliances. "
Actually, paying attention to sites like that led me here, rather than the other way around.

I am enjoying this site - especially the fact that the boundaries of the Hybrid keep on being tested and retested and more info surfacing every day !

Certainly when "Spring's Galaxy" has reached her 500 miles (probably in the next week or two) she will be ready to be pushed to find her limits (I should tell you the driver is still finding her own also)
