Default Tire pressure indicator caps on sale at Target

FYI!

This evening I went to Target and they had the indicators (both 32 and 36lbs) on sale for $5 for 4. They are on the end caps in the special red Target packaging.

Hope this helps. I run those type of caps even though my pressure is a bit more than 36lbs. This may be of use to the hybrid owners who don't run "excessive" pressure or don't have LRR tires, whatever floats your boat.

Do they have any for 80 psi?
You should see the way my car corners at 80!

That aside, I actually think 32 is too low, 36 is ok, but I run mine at 42F 40R.
Aren't you supposed to have a difference of 1-2 psi F/R?
I suppose these indicators are more of an emergency, underinflation warning indicator, so even on cars with higher pressures, they might be a useful safety feature?

These indicators come in 2 psi increments fro 26 to 40 then by 5 psi increments up to 60 psi. See: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/eagleday/vitiprin.html (not the least expensive vendor, but informative).

Thanks Jeff. Those are what my Insight has on it but they are 36lb caps. I think I may pick up a few sets of the 50's for my Civic/Insight. $30 for 2 sets of valve stem caps (8 caps).....OUCH! Still, worth I suppose.

I just got home from Target here in Surprise, AZ. No valve caps, at all.

Did they have the Christmas planograms set up yet? They'll have them soon. Normally my Target is the one that doesn't have anything. At least they never have the item I specifically went there to get.
