Tailgating is especially worrying on a snow-covered street that starts uphill. I don't care if the tailgater has 4 wheel drive or not. If I start sliding backward, it will still be in my way! And if we get over the hill and IT starts sliding, I am the one who will be in the way! You would think that common sense would assert itself on icy roads, but then common sense seems to be getting less common these days!

that's how I do it too. I turn off the lights at night, and flash them during the day. I know I'm appreciative when i tow my trailer when a car signals it's ok to come over.
