I saw this on another board, with a lot of debate if it was even possible. Do any of you experts know if this could really be true?

yes, of course its possible. There are in fact two methods of achieving this that I can think of:

1) You stop, recharge the battery in an outlet, go....stop recharge the battery in an outlet, go. Its unlimited range right? As long as you recharge

2) Install pedals in the car, people pedal and that generates electricity used to recharge the battery used to power the car. You'll go what, maybe 5 mph?

Other than that, let me know when they invent a perpetual motion machine.
