00 VW Golf GTI VR6 (great, great car which I would have kept longer if I had not purchased land that required 4wd and ground clearance to get to)
06 Ford Escape Hybrid (My first North American car. Love it so far despie lacking some refinements compared to the VW and even the '87 323!)

Thanks to my 1st car, fuel economy is always a high priority for me. Thanks to the spouse's 1st car, neither of us would ever even consider buying a GM vehicle again.
