Well I tried to hook you up with a real time mileage sig and either it didn't work or it hasn't worked yet. I'll check back later to see for sure if it is working.....
OK it works, but not on old posts....

Re: What is the one thing about your hybrid that bugs you the most?
I love my HCH but there are a few things that bug me about it.
First is the speedometer- why does it only have increments every 2 miles and numbers every 20? If I'm trying to go 55 I have to hover between 54 and 56, which is basically three quarters of the way between 40 and 60- not the easiest thing to eyeball. Every 5 miles is less precise but more acurately reflects the speeds we aim for under existing speed limits.
Second is the mpg meter- it measures to the tenth of a mile per gallon but only changes every .3 or .4 miles per gallon. Very irritating, and not always consistent.
Also, the odometer records total miles driven but not total mpg, so I have to use up one of my trip meters- and there are only two- for the lifetime figures. That duplicates the lifetime odometer reading (within 8 miles), just so I can get the mpg number. Why should it have to do that?
Then there's the instantaneous mpg meter- having notches for 40, 80 and 120 is just NOT precise enough. Each little bar reads out 4 mpg, which is not too hard to figure out, but having a bar instead of a needle or a digital display definitely took some getting used to- it's just not how I would have wanted it.
I can't completely agree with the remote issue someone mentioned- I'm a woman who sometimes drives in a city, and I like that one push only opens the driver's door. Lately, though, it has sometimes taken an extra push or so to get the rest of the doors to open- I hope the remote isn't wearing out or something from being knocked around in my purse. I've never had one before- do any of you find that they start acting up after a while?
I wish the back seats folded down, but I wouldn't call that a pet peeve, exactly.
And now, having hurt my little car's feelings so much, I have to put in that there are so many things I love about my hybrid that I couldn't possibly make a list of them like this.

Leah
I agree with you assesment of the real time mpg setup and lack of a lifetime mpg meter. My Vette has a much better real time meter good to true tenths in real time. I agree about the seat as well.
I don't at all mind the remote taking 2 clicks to open as the default OPTION. If 2 clicks opened the doors everytime it would be fine as well. One click ALWAYS opens the driver's door, proving the the remote is in good working order. Thing is 2 clicks almost never open all the doors. It is like the remote is posessed. Click (driver's door opens, everytime), click, click, click, click, click, click, click(pull handle, still locked),click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click(pull handle, still locked), click, click, click, click, click, click, click,(the rest of the other doors finally open). Why not make single click an OPTION?

Re: What is the one thing about your hybrid that bugs you the most?
I have read all of the posts on this forum, and some of the issues apply to my 2006 prius, but I have to say this, this car is the most fun to drive car I have ever owned and non of the small issues would ever make me traid it for another uless it was a newer Prius.
