I had a red 1970 (hardtop). I sure wish I had it TODAY....LOL!

Which engine do you have (I seem to recall the ragtops got a smaller V8?)

How do you get your mpg log to appear on your signature?
Here's my first post here, asking the same thing about the signature, hope that answers your question.

It was originally a 318 but you could get all the way up to a 426 hemi in '70.

It now has a newer 360 with hydraulic roller cam, Holley 670, Edelbrock air-gap intake, magnum r/t heads mildly ported by me, step headers, 10.3 compression, 3.23 gears. Future mod, ditch the auto for a 5-speed manual.

Thanks Steve! It's done. I don't drive the Viper much. Especially during winter. It'll be awhile before my next log entry. I especially like your log entry with 5.6. I seem to remember getting about the same once.

Is your Challenger correct/numbers matching?

When I got it, it was a numbers matching 318 2-barrel. The 318/904/7-1/4 have since been replaced by 360/727/8-3/4. I have it looking like an R/T with none of the badging. At this point real R/T convertibles are going for so much that the non-R/Ts clones are going for near as much as the real deal.

Numbers matching 318s are worth a lot as a clone candidates.

I'm into restifying, with aftermarket sway bars, disc brakes, headers, intake. Overall it looks original cruising down the street. Pop the hood, not so original.

Personally I prefer a restified muscle car over a correct car. Something about having better handling, braking and more power. That's a great looking Challenger you have. Enjoy wrenching on it.

Here's a cool Cuda with a turbocharged Viper V10.
