Default When is the gas reformulated (summer blend)

I'm in New England, does anyone have any idea when the summer blend shows up? Right now I am getting my best fuel economy since the first of the year. I'm wondering how much is attributed to temperature, and/or if the gas has changed.

.

It gets late early out there. - Yogi

I have found the same mpg results in WI. Got a low of 36 for Jan, and now 46 is tops. Not sure when the blend switch is made.

"The nation's gas stations are preparing to switch their pumps on March 1 to a more expensive summer blend of gasoline, which is sold year-round in warm climates such as Florida and Southern California."

I found this in an article online.

I'm going to guess the summer. Haha. Couldn't resist.

Should be early spring. I have already noticed the difference.
