You're 2316. There are a few ways to find it. The easiest and most obvious is to look at the link or url when you click on your own name, which is registered by number rather than name. Jason, for example, is 1, I'm 1699. Katz is 3147 and Bob is 2751

As for who's 5000, that goes to Mr. Happy. /discuss/members/mr.+happy/

Now, things get interesting. If you notice, the number for registered isn't the same as the ID number. It's six off (plus wise). At the moment jdm is the newest forum member at 5013, yet has the number 5019. So, if you take 6 off, you come up with member realjuice as forum member 5000. /discuss/members/realjuice/, with 5007 being member zgirl and GeoffC as 5006

So, you're forum member 2322, but Jason is still member number one. I suspect that as "alterations" were made, the numbering got off, though Jason is the one to ask about that.

Ahhhh, the permanently retired 'jersey?' <grins>

This is another opportunity to thank the moderators. The high quality of signal-to-noise makes GreenHybrid.com one of the better places to visit. Assuming these are shaddows of the "a** holes," to think, only six out of 5,000 numbers had to be retired . . . a good job!

Agreed. I have no involvement in the innerworkings of this site, and I run a much smaller community website than this, but when I saw that the numbering was off by just 6 I thought, "Wow! If only that were the case on my site!" I retire users weekly, if not daily, due to those who sign up strictly to post spam.

Says 5,045 now. Using the URL when viewing your profile isn't technically reliable, as you are granted a user ID that doesn't necessarily correspond exactly with how many members are registered at the time for some technical database-related issues. However, it's relatively accurate.
