I meant maintainence papers, I wanted to see what parts have been replaced under the car since I've reasearched that 2001 Prii's are prone to a few problems. But if I had the papers and it tells me all the problems have been fixed under warrenty then I wouldn't have much to worry about and it can run trouble free since I plan to maintain it. However if a problem do arises and with no warrenty I'm pretty much screwed.
That' the only thing from stopping me from owning a classic prius! Although owning a prius under 50 percent retail sounds very tempting considering the risks I may go through in the future. 170,000 km is quite high in my book considering I'm driving only a 35000 km car.
Although after being so active in this community and snooping around other hybrid articles one can't be curious enough to experience what kind of car is this and is it as radical as you guys make it seem? Everytime I have doubts about the car you guys always come in and make me think, "Now hold on a minute what if they are right?".
BLAH

i got around 20 km a liter when i drove a civic 5 spd using advanced hypermiler techniques
and now I drive a salvage nwh20 prius that gets almost to 25 km/l with 195,000 km to date.
