As far I can see, the Scangauge can only display 2 temperatures that can be of any use to HCH-II owners: The Air Intake temp and the Water/coolant temp. That is it !
In my experience these temps do not appear to reveal much about the operating state of hybrid system at all - at least not directly ...

The HDS station can however display far more parameters including that of the several temp sensors that IMA system monitors.

I've come across many concerns about battery pack life, especially among non-hybrid owners, but few reports of battery replacements.

I collect reliability data from dozens of hybrid owners, so if and when battery packs start failing I'll know. It's very rare at this point--not a single report yet from my panel members.

It would seem that the HAH doesn't use the battery pack nearly as much as the rest of the hybrids out there. So, my vote on longest battery pack life? HAH!
