California Gas Prices Reach $5 In Some Areas

This morning saw them changing the signs $2.95 ---- to ----$3.05 for 87 oct Shell
I'm sooooo glad I got my FEH in may and stopped driving my Ford Exploder.

I thought about filling up last Thursday but decided I couldn't be bothered, and since I drive a hybrid, it's almost always optional. Thursday, gas was around $2.86. Unfortunately, I don't have ESP, and by my Monday evening fillup, I felt lucky to get $3.06 and I saw prices as high as $3.35 for regular over the course of the day, with most prices at $3.15.

In my area, was $2.79 ten days ago.
$3.04 yesterday, and $3.15 today.
This seems like a crooked racket to me....

I filled up our Dodge on Friday with 15 gallons and just about cried. Today, gas was 20 cents more expensive per gallon.
