Toyota South Africa is to market its award-winning Prius, a petrol-electric hybrid car, in the country from early next year.
Johan van Zyl, Toyota SA's president and chief executive, said sky-high demand for the vehicle in Toyota's major overseas markets meant local volumes would be limited.
