Good news. This is an excellent step in changing public perception
of hybrid propulsion systems to positive.

The Army realized the M1A Abrams is only as good as the fuel carriers that follow. They've figured out that it takes oil to go to war and as an importing, oil nation, there is something very, very wrong about that picture and national security.

Another news item just in, the army is testing a vehicle that runs on a fuel derived from maple syrup and bacon. Leaders in Canada are getting increasingly worried over the prospects of a future invasion by the USA to secure a supply to this new fuel source.
