Hi,

Thank you for the report.
I think it is very nice pace.

Do you think Prius had more than 13 gallons?
If so, my calc is you are going to achieve 1355 miles (2180 km) record!

Ken,
It is so difficult to tell. Dave and Rick topped off the tank in the afternoon and then went for another test run. The we had to drive around for the media so they could get thier shots. When we went back to top off, we had 35 miles, 81 MPG showing on the MFD. That would mean that we used 0.43 gallons. Wayne topped it off this time while Rick raised the rear of the car and they were avleto put in another 0.77 gallons. So we got an additional 0.34 gallons in this time. We can only assume that we have between 12 and 13 gallons in the tank.

Hey Ken,
You going to use this attempt for advertising for your product? Looks like you might get some marketing out of it.

No, I'm not this time.
The story is I saw a post at yahoo.com group that Dan is looking for an instrument which can display real mileage over the 99.9MPG limitation on MFD.
So, I introduced my site about DIY mileage meter called SuperMID M-1.
http://priusdiy.fc2web.com/
Dan would like to have one, then I sent him mine.

Basically, it's DIY things, and all information is available at my site.
However, I'm talking to Dan a joke that I would like to have my own house in Beverly Hills.
