(The roar of applause.)

Weep, smile.

Pinned?

Does that mean the moderator did something to keep the thread always visible, on top?

Hi Jason:

___Honorable mentions are those that have posted so few tanks (like < 2) or have overridden their tank data. If they know how much fuel economy they have over 10,000 + miles, what happened to all the data in the first place unless they have an lmpg meter like that of the Insight? I just know I missed somebody and will probably miss many in the future as well … Please help keep this thread true to form whenever you are viewing the database for your own review.

Hey,

I finally broke two milestones I set for myself:
- 55 mpg average for one tank
- 700 mile tank

Had a little help. First, my wife didn't need the car to go to school (she usually gets in the 40s in mpg). Next, some "easy" driving while camping on July 4th weekend. Plus temps in the 80s up to 100s for my drive home during my commutes. I did drive with AC off -- well, it's a dry heat!

By the way, dash read 57.5 mpg, but I calculated 56.4 mpg at the pump.

Now I'm going for the 60 mpg mark!

(well, with the way things are going, maybe next year.)

That is simply fantastic. You're beating EPA by about 10MPG.
My wife was also wrecking my tank averages.

Her car is the Grand Caravan and I find that if I keep the GC gassed up and parked in a VERY convenient place for her to access, and park my HCH the carport in the very back of the property....out of the way....the HCH is left alone.

Ta da.. my averages are also up again!

.

Efficient drivers do it better.
1003 miles a tank personal record. 74MPG calculated. HCH1 CVT
