Default Re: Dept. of Energy HEV mpg test results

Just thought the rack was failing on my Ranger @ 123k. Just turned out it needed M1 ATF. Drained the motor(junk)craft out and poured in the M1. Alls fine now.

U.S. Dept. XXXXXXXXX should let you know that the datas not right. I would rather see data from a lieing fleet manager or a fanboy that cant see the truth than any data from some where that starts with U.S. Dept. of anything. There trained idiots and liars.

What I wonder is this:

-- Why the heck were those fleet vehicles so expensive? BankONE paid $23k, but I got my HCH for $19.9k -- and I only bought one!
-- Who the heck taught those BankONE employees how to drive?! They got 37 miles per hour out of an HCH? And blew the trannies around 100k? Geeez!
-- What was the average highway speed these cars were driven at? 90 miles per hour? 100?
-- Did these cars get any kind of maintenance at all?

I guess there's no way to know. But it just seems fishy that a whole set of Hondas can be in the junkyard around 100k. My experience is that a Honda outlasts most marriages these days, ha ha.

.

Hope is like a candle held against the night.
