Anywhere from $1.89/gal to $2.04/gal in Manassas, VA

I paid $1.89 this morning even though I could have gone another 180 miles without sweating.. Thursday seems to be the raised the gas price day around here so I wanted to make sure I had a full tank..

For regular not-leaded fuel:

$1.85 Sam's Wholesale members club
$1.89 Quicktrip discount gas in my area
$1.99 Several brand name stations in Altlanta city limits.

Hi All:

___I paid $2.099 at the local BP for Regular Unleaded 87 octane this afternoon … It costs $2.199 for 89 and $2.299 for 91 Octane Premium unleaded. My BP card gets me 3% back so it actually only cost $2.036 … The price is still nuts although with our Hybrid’s, it really doesn’t matter all that much imho.

___There are stations in the Chicago area still slightly under $2.00. The prices are being blared out on the AM Radio news programs and the local TV stations. The least expensive I heard about today was $1.959. If you have an automobile that can take E85 (many Ford Taurus’ can), you can fill up tomorrow at 5 stations near Chicago for just $0.85! This is an alternative fuel promotion of some kind?

___Good Luck
