Thumbs up Grand Caravan FE is increasing too !

I'm really exited about this and just wanted to jot a note here.

My Big Red Beauty:
http://www.greenhybrid.com/compare/mileage/car/324

MPG has increased from 16-17 to my last tank, 23.36 filled just yesterday.
Apparently driving for efficiency has influenced my otherwise not-as-concerned wife,
as she is the Grand Caravan's primary driver.

City: 17 – 18 Highway: 23 – 24 is the vehicles' EPA rating.

Driving a mix of city/hwy, she's "Almost there".
Last year I observed her sharing many bad FE habits as most drivers.
She's seen how much money we've saved my my HCH efforts and made some adjustments on her own.
She now keeps the speed around 60-65 Max (no longer 80), and is learning to drive with the load.

This is for all you hypermilers out there with a relatively unconcerned spouse...

Keep the faith, spend some of that savings in a suprise gift of flowers.
But be sure to let her know where the gift money came from

.

Efficient drivers do it better.
1003 miles a tank personal record. 74MPG calculated. HCH1 CVT

Hi Hot_Georgia_2004:

___Congrats and I knew it was only a matter of time before you and the family would get that Caravan hitting hypermileage type numbers. Keep up the great work and pass a note to your wife that I am behind her 100%!
