MPG has increased from 16-17 to my last tank, 23.36 filled just yesterday.
Apparently driving for efficiency has influenced my otherwise not-as-concerned wife,
as she is the Grand Caravan's primary driver.
City: 17 – 18 Highway: 23 – 24 is the vehicles' EPA rating.
Driving a mix of city/hwy, she's "Almost there".
Last year I observed her sharing many bad FE habits as most drivers.
She's seen how much money we've saved my my HCH efforts and made some adjustments on her own.
She now keeps the speed around 60-65 Max (no longer 80), and is learning to drive with the load.
This is for all you hypermilers out there with a relatively unconcerned spouse...
Keep the faith, spend some of that savings in a suprise gift of flowers.
But be sure to let her know where the gift money came from
