....when I have a great tank going!

I've gone 380-some-odd miles, and I still have just under a half-tank left!

So y'all can just shush now and stop your cussing and gesturing at me as you pass me...I'm bound and determined to "putt-putt" my way as close to a 600-mile tank as I can! :o

I promise I'll "scoot along" on my next tank! <well, maybe....this may become habit-forming!>

I got a 61.6 MPGgoing at about half left.

My best ever.

I can't brag about the miles per tank cause I have one of those California AT-PZEVs with the 10.2 gallon tank.

Need fewer troops to support.
Drive a hybrid.
Best tank 71.65 MPG.

Before this car I spent two years learning hypermiling on my 2004 HCH1.

Speaking of good tank, I'm 200 miles into my current tank and the blocks hasn't started dropping yet! The display says 3.7L/100km (around 63mpg). 1000km (624 miles) should be a piece of cake this time around. I'm taking my wife and kid to my dad's cottage this weekend. Depending on how that one goes, 700 miles might even be possible...

Andy

I love my Prius!!

I almost made my 600 miles! I could have done it, but decided to pull over for gas when my guage went down to a single bar (not blinking).

576.5 miles on one tank of gas, and I had only burned 10.21 gallons in an 11.9 gallon tank!

At my calculated rate of 56.46 MPG, I could have potentially driven to 633 miles, and still had more than a half-gallon left in my tank! My projected "out of gas" point would have been somewhere between 640 and 660 miles.

Holy gasbags, Batman! :o <inside Prius joke>

Told'ja I had a good tank going!

I can tell too but alas this tank is TANKING!!! It's been HOT and HUMID and I have been running around doing some city driving and the A/C is killing the mpg's. So at this point the reading is 52.7 so that translates to about 49 - 50 mpg. not bad but still not my usual. Kevin
