Bill some parts of my commute give great opportunity for me to really stretch my efficiency as I choose to do so (Such as 3:00AM on abandoned rural highways) and is a big reason I can get those rediculous high numbers.
If I had to drive grid-lock rush hour traffic I couldn't get near them.
I work reallyhard for my numbers....I guess that is the club you speak of...which leads me to say "Hats off" to those who's commute is more difficult than mine- but still do all they can to maintain the highest possible and to be the best one can be.
If you're trying to improve then we're all under the same tent.
That especially goes for folks who drive diesels and regular gasser cars too!

Wow. I just had my first 500 mile tank, and you just doubled that!
Hard to fathom.
Congrats.

That's amazing, Steve! How long did it take??? It takes alot of dedication to maintain focus for such a long amount of time/distance. That would have taken me 6 weeks to accomplish. Wow! Congratulations!!!
