I admit it. I have terrain envy.

Today I was driving to various cities for my job and boy did I get great mileage! The terrain was nice and flat with lots of highway driving. I saw 89+ mpg for a 30-40 miles today. I wish that I commuted from those towns! Then my mpg would be much higher.

Where I live there are many large hills, which makes for a interesting landscape, but decreases the gas mileage.

It helped reaffirm that my driving techniques are sound, but the terrain is impeding my mpg progress.
