Just got my first Hybrid car a week ago. I filled up my first tank of gas at 500 miles! I love it. The meter told me I got 45.2 mgp on the first tank. That's incredible considering I got the car with 10 miles on it and the mpg indicator was at 4.5.
I've started my second tank and am at 62.7 mpg with about 90% highway driving on it. I can't wait to see what the tank will end up at!!!
Where are you commuting around here that you are getting 62+ MPG??? I live in York and have averaged 45 overall over the past 5 months.... (mostly driving between H-burg and York)
I was driving home from Sam's club in Harrisburg to my house near the river in Harrisburg. It was an 11 mile trip with no A/C. I've done the same trip with A/C and got around 50mpg. That really seems to make a difference.
