G'day
I have had my Prius four months and have just turned 2500 miles and overjoyed to be joining the green hybrids. I am a Colorado retired high school teacher and thus drive because it is fun whenever I want and not because I need to get to work!
I have driven mainly 30- and 60-minute each way trips. However my wife and I took a 1350 miles trip in September to the South Dakota black hills with our mountin bikes inside and on one MFD consumption screen five-minute segment, I saw 3.5 green cars!
Getting ready for many months of cold Colorado winter driving with mostly short shopping trips and to visiit friends.
Glad to come aboard.
Bill G.

Welcome, Bill! Did you have a 2500 mile party? Maybe that's just me... Whenever I get to a milestone, I have some fun, haha.

What did you teach? I'm having a fun time trying to pull an A in AP BC Calculus, and AP English just isn't fun anymore. B)

Welcome!
A 1350 miles,eh? Well I guess you'd be a good person to ask...how comfortable are the seats in your Prius?

I can tell you flat out with only short trips... bloody uncomfortable! At least, for me.

To ericbecky
regarding Prius 2 seat comfort.
My wife and I are short and have found the seats very comfortable even on our two 500 mile days to and from South Dakota from Colorado. However some tall friends who also own Prius 2G do find the seats uncomfortable.
I have not seen this thread on another Prius discussion groups except for some general "seats not as comfortable as other cars" talk with no mention of the person's height.
