Have owned 06 civix hybrid since handing over the check November 10th i believe? Dealer here in manchester honda in CT said I was the first private citizen to pick up a new hybrid in the state! First 40 delivered were state purchased veichles but not counting those. Had ordered car as soon as possible not wanting to wait over a year for a prius. Just joining the site as a first time hybrid owner I never even laid eyes on the car untill picking it up. Didn't even look online to see it lol, I've driven 2 civics before this and it was the quality that sold me without knowing the style. Accually thought it was a new accord when I got to the dealership!

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. Hybrids have been in this country for six years now. I have trouble believing that none were sold in CT until last year. Was there some issue (emissions, e.g.) that halted their sales in CT?
