Default Hello from MA

Hi all, Steve here from the burbs of Boston. I was lucky enough to live in one of the 6 or 8 states that offered the Nissan Altima hybrid. I purchased one at the beginning of this year (an 07 leftover). I'm lovin' this car so far. I find it so frustrating that I had to find out about it via word of mouth (a friend bought one, then purchased another for his wife). We are now in the market for a Ford Escape hybrid to replace our Explorer.

I'm looking forward to the discussions that lie ahead.

My understanding is the Nissan shares a lot of technology with the Camry hybrid. You might get some useful tips from that forum.

GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for the replies. I am currently getting the best mileage I've seen so far (with the nice weather). I have 127 miles on this tank and the dash is reading 41.3mpg. I'm not really driving like an ol' lady or anything, I never hold anyone up in traffic, it just seems that lately people may be slowing down a bit.

I was at a stop light today and a Prius was stopped beside me. Our windows were down, so I said "Hey, your car isn't running". Then he noticed mine wasn't either, chuckled and said "Ain't it wonderful!"

I like that story! Today I passed by a Smart car going by in the opposite direction, and almost waved at them. I am way too shy.
Welcome!
