Default Hi ya.

Greetings from Rhode Island.
I bought a 2004 (used) Prius last week. So far I am very happy. I have even posted my first tank on the database. 47.1 MPG.
I traded in my 2000 Nissan Quest that got 17 MPG.
I do a lot of miles, atleast 100 per day, so I was sick of putting some Exxon/Mobil executives kid through college.

How many miles on your 2004? It seems so hard to come by good used ones.

Going from 17 mpg to 47.1...that'll help the 'ol pocketbook. Plus, cleaner air for everyone.

p.s. I love your screen name.

Welcome, Barbara! The Prius is great, isn't it?

17,000 miles on the Prius.
I am very happy with my MPG so far and look forward to getting even better, with tips from this site and others. And yes it is a definite plus to know I am not polluting the air as much as I was before.

17,000 miles. Not bad for a 2004. I just check and I tend to put about 19,000 on a year.
As the warmer weather comes into play your mileage will increase as well. One more reason to look forward to spring!

Yes I am looking forward to spring! I'm hoping that my MPG will be climbing with the warmer weather. But after this last snow storm, I just want spring to show up.

True!!
It's hard to get good mileage when your slogging through inches of snow.
