I have purchased the first 450H in my city. I love it. Admittedly, its not a great gas saver given its rear wheel drive and powerful engine; but it does get 20% BETTER mileage than the equivalent non hybrid model; plus, i believe it does reduce emissions.

So tell us. How does the car handle and perform. Inquiring minds want to know.

The 450H is an acceleration beast. It is peppy peppy peppy. Basically flies on acceleration. Handles well. Corners beautifully. The ride is a little rough as the car is so low and the tires are thin. Quiet, quiet. Overall, a lot of fun to drive. Our LS 430 and ES300 are smoother, but this car outperforms them in acceleration, mileage, and cornering.
