Howdy all. I'm new to hybrid ownership and used this forum a lot while researching them. I just got an 03 Honda Civic Hybrid with a 5 speed last week. I needed the high MPG that a hybrid can achieve due to a 140ish mile round trip for work. my first tank of gas yielded 42 MPG. the IMA batt is being replaced next week, so I'm hoping for higher next tank.

 

Now averaging 47-49 MPG per tank. 100% highway trip out to AL yielded 53 MPG.
