New Member Yukon Hybrid
Just picked up my Yukon a week ago. Got it for $44000. Fully loaded 4WD.
So far its a great vehicle. Moved up from a Envoy.
Have not put alot of miles on it yet to check the gas mileage. But it drives real nice.

Re: New Member Yukon Hybrid
Nice!
If I needed a really big hauler or good towing capacity, I think that's what I'd want.
I'll be interested in your future contributions. I think GM did good here.
Welcome to GreenHybrid! This is a great place to learn, and contribute.

Re: New Member Yukon Hybrid
Thanks. So far on the DIC it started @ 16.0 mpg. After a few days, it has climbed to 17.6.
So hopefully it will hit 20 in a week.

I guess I am learning to drive it. Just hit 18.1
I'll reset the DIC and start again.

Re: New Member Yukon Hybrid
Sounds good!
Do you have occasion to do repeated trips over the same route with a highway segment?
The reason I ask is you could start holding everything else constant and vary one aspect, say speed, to start an MPH vs MPH chart:

Re: New Member Yukon Hybrid
Everyday to work. 40 minute drive.
About 40% freeway. 40% highway. 20% city.
I did get 22 mph on the way to work this morning.
That is some detail, not sure if I can be so patience.

You have already started! <GRINS>
Patience is as simple as a log that transcribed into a spreadsheet over time. But you are at the cutting edge and can make a real contribution to our understanding of the two-mode hybrid technology.

I may do that. I tried to enter some data into the site's DB. No Yukon Hybrd Model.
