Just got my Green Machine 10 days ago. Tideland Pearl # 9. (yes it is green). I do like the fact that it does look different colors depending on how and when you look at it. First tank was 44.5 on the computer and 47.6 in the tank. It took 9.41 gallons and I did not try to over fill it. I am at 50.1 mpg on the second tank at 200 miles. I love working on keeping it over 50 mpg. We are looking to get 6 of these for the salesman where I work. We have found 1 so far and picked it up today. Have 5 more to go. Can you all imagine what a great value this machine will be when there are enough of them available so we can buy them at invoice. Package # 9 for $24,000. Not that it is not a great value now. Nothing not to like about this car so far.

PAT

Pat:
First off welcome to the community.
It's nice to hear about your new car purchase and satisfaction. As far as being enough of them I agree about the availability....one of my main pet pieves is the cloud of gas that needlessly surrounds every busy intersection....just waste from idling cars (Except ours of course!) Perhaps with enough hybrids around it may be reduced and eventually a thing of the past.

Yes, that is a very special thing about hybrid cars. I remember trying to drive my 'ol Dodge for better MPG but just drove myself mad with boredom.

Congrads on your new car and your great MPG!

.

Efficient drivers do it better.
1003 miles a tank personal record. 74MPG calculated. HCH1 CVT

Pat,
Good luck on getting those additional vehicles. How long do you think it will take?
I'm not sure how far North you are in Illinois, but if you are ever up towards Madison, WI let me know.

Welcome!

I think I will have the other 5 by the end of August. Found # 2 today. Seaside Pearl with package # 4 plus some add ons. I also found a # 8 but not sure of the color. Turned that one down. 4 more to go.
