Cool Rare NAV???

Hi all,

I am new to the web site, but have been looking at it for a few weeks now. It is really helpful and very informative.

I recently put my deposit in for a 2006 HCH (Magnetic Pearl) and was told the wait was about 2 months (mid-August). From what I have been reading, that is not out of the ordinary for these cars without dealer mark-up.

I was wondering about what the sales guy told me when I was ordering it. I told him I would prefer to have the NAV on my car. (It isn't a must-have, but a nice-to-have for me.) He told me that Honda is only making 3% of the Hybrid Civics with NAV and the wait time would be much longer for that. That percentage seems really odd to me. Has anyone else heard something that agrees/disagrees with that?

He said they would look for one with NAV in the meantime while waiting for the car I ordered. If they found one before then, they would try to get it for me. In any case, I am anxiously awaiting the car, whether it ends up having NAV or not.

Welcome to the site and congrats on your soon to be new car. I don't know anything about the nav, sorry. I considered it but I only make one drive a day and I do it every day so didn't see the point for me...

Good luck, you could always call Honda and confirm this.
